AIRPODS 3 NEW DESIGN LEAKED

Published

on

Whilst Apple can’t take credit for creating wireless earphones, there’s no denying they made them mainstream. With the third generation rumoured to be released at some point this half of the year, even as close as this week, it would mark the two year anniversary since the launch of the second-gen AirPods which were released in March 2019.

With all the rumours flying around about price, release date and features, the apparent new design of the AirPods has also been leaked. These leaked images seem to confirm reports that the earphones will combine features from the second-gen AirPods and the AirPods pro. The new generation of earphones have a similar design to the AirPods Pro; qualities like the silicone ear pieces, touch control and smaller stems to make the design more subtle and lighter.  It has also been speculated that you’ll be able to bag yourself a pair in space grey or black too.

As wireless charging and wireless audio was a focus of the iPhone 12, we can expect the AirPods 3 to feature only a wireless charging case. Perhaps Apple will be saying goodbye to wires once and for all soon, with the world following suit too?

Burger King UK has pledged to stop advertising on its Instagram account temporarily to instead offer those little squares to the local restaurants that need it the most. It comes after more and more of England being placed in Tier Three of local restrictions, and so the fast-food giant has promised to help smaller businesses in this time of need.

Their Instagram post states that ‘There’s more to life than the whopper.’ And continues, ‘”There’s Roti King, Sultan’s Palace, Tayyab’s, Eco, Dumplings Legend, Ochi’s, Damak, Platzki… In short, there are many great dishes from thousands of restaurants that deserve to be as famous as the Whopper.

The pledge has been welcomed by the public and praise has been made for the burger company putting the needs of smaller companies ahead of their own profits. Since the announcement, Burger King France has followed in line too. Perhaps this will path the way for other big brands to do the same?

ELON MUSK IS THE WORLD’S RICHEST PERSON

The founder of Tesla and SpaceX has recently become the world’s richest person, overtaking Amazon boss Jeff Bezos who had held the place since October 2017. Elon Musk’s net worth is now $188.5 billion- around $1.5 billion more than Bezos’ estimated worth.

Tesla’s stock share increased by 4.8%, making Musk the wealthiest man on earth. His wealth sawed in 2020 after Tesla was valued at £516 billion, making the car company more valuable than Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai, GM and Ford- combined!

The multi-billionaire has recently been in the news after his girlfriend, Grimes, gave birth to their son. The couple named their child X Æ A-12, but the pair still haven’t confirmed how to pronounce the name.

Whilst 2020 was a welcomed year for Bezos due to the pandemic creating huge demand for Amazon, he was involved in a public divorce in which he gave over 4% shares of the business to his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, allowing Musk to overtake.
