ONE OF A KIND ART AUCTION FOR TEENAGE CANCER TRUST
2020 would have been the 20th Anniversary of Teenage Cancer Trust’s Royal Albert Hall shows – a week long initiative bringing musicians and fans together once a year, to host show stopping performances and raise money for the support and care of young people going through treatment.
To mark this milestone, now a year on, ONE OF A KIND brings together 21 artworks from 21 designers, artists and musicians – screen printed, signed and open for auction. This unique collection of works will be exhibited at Maddox Gallery, Westbourne Grove, W2 from Friday 23rd to Saturday 31st July, with an online auction bidding opening on Thursday 22nd July 2021.
Designed by BLUP’s Creative Director Dines, Studio BLUP’s exclusive artwork is amongst the incredible line up of artists, designers and musicians who have designed a print for ONE OF A KIND’S auction and gallery.

ONE OF A KIND is an initiative from designer and creative director, Tom Hingston who has been working with the charity since 2018. Hingston is renowned for his creative collaborations with some of the world’s most celebrated musicians and over the last 24 years has created numerous campaigns for The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Grace Jones, Nick Cave, Massive Attack and The Chemical Brothers, amongst many others.

The funds raise will be a real lifeline for young people with cancer, many of whom have been at particular risk from coronavirus, and have faced more uncertainty and isolation than ever before.” Tom Hingston.

BLUP talks @ ING event in Dubai

Studio BLUP’S Creative Director and co-founder, Dines spoke at ING Creative in Dubai. He was in good company with other speakers such as Google, Pixar and NASA to name a few. BLUP also collaborated with Pixar for a workshop teaching ‘How to remix Disney’.

BLUP X JD NIKE

BLUP have been working alongside JD and Nike on a collaborated project for an exclusive Air Max 90 social media campaign to celebrate AirMax Day. The motion video showcases the Black Volt edition trainer from the Nike Air Max 90 collection.
The visuals used reference art and cultural influences to create and establish a distinct representation of the sneaker. From music to bespoke hand-designed typography, each individual element plays part to create a unique perspective of the legendary sneaker.
