NEW NIKE RELEASE

Published

on

Nike have just realised their latest Run Division for Spring/Summer 2020. It offers an easy transition between sport, work, and leisure.

T-shirts, vests, shorts, lightweight jackets, and more have been created in both this ventilated and lightweight material, alongside carved shoulders to enhance ability and comfort. These have been made using the brand’s unique sweat-wicking material to help the body stay cool when needed and hot during colder conditions.

You will find the black and white colourways throughout the collection, but Nike have spiced up the clothing with pops of colour inspired by the sun.

The modular system of the 3-in-1 short features an advanced knit in a tight, lightweight woven shell and pack, designed to integrate as a united system or individually.

Will you be sporting Nike’s new look this summer?

PFW MEN’S: A BRIEF SUMMARY

Published

By

The arrival of June means an eventful month for the biggest names in the fashion industry, and the City of Lights proved to be a leader in such. Designers who presented their men’s spring/summer 2020 collections included a range from streetwear designers like Virgil Albloeh’s Off-White, Yohji Yamamoto, Vetements, and Pigalle Paris to more luxe brands like Dior, Celine, Balmain, and Louis Vuitton.

Major trends seemed to be the continuity of bucket hats (thanks to Off-White’s influence), cargo, and oversized suit blazers. Off-White also debuted its latest collabs with Nike and Futura during their show.

An honorable mention goes out to the Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin for proving he’s a man of many talents by walking for the Louis Vuitton SS20 show in the French capital.

The French brand ‘Vetements’ were the ultimate trollers during PFW by hosting their show in a Parisian McDonalds- yes, the fast food chain.

The models walked around the booths in the restaurant where the audience were sat. The whole show seemed to be a comment on capitalism- which is a bit ironic considering hoodies come at a cost of around £500- with models wearing name tags saying, ‘CAPITALISM’ and slogans like ‘ECSTASY’, that was referring to the internet and its effect on society. Pieces also included flip-flops, bright colors, leather coats, oversized shirts, manager/security guard outfits, and some held french fries as they walked.

To top it all off, attendees also received their invites in the form of branded condoms. Class at its finest.
