EXPLORING WITH THE PATTA X EXPERIMENTAL JETSET’S CONVERSE CHUCK 70 HI

Patta and Experimental Jetset are collaborating for yet another time, as they are set to release a full collection of designs representing ‘psychogeography’. Uniting with Converse to offer a fresh take on the highly respected Chuck 70 silhouette, this three-way collaboration reminds us that it’s okay to sometimes drift in life and carve your own path in the process.
Nearly everyone has owned a pair of Chuck Taylors at some point in their lives, and regardless of where you were raised, the brand has played a significant role in culture and continues to do so. Converse, who continue to champion its recent multi-format campaign, “”Create Now. Create Next”- bringing together seasoned and up-and-coming artists from more than 18 cities worldwide.

Therefore, this global Converse campaign makes perfect sense along the Patta x Experimental Jetset x Converse Chuck 70 to be released later this week. The dynamics and adventure rooted in this sneaker, encouraging aimless city exploration – perfect for the nomad.
As one explores, the red and blue arrows suggest a sense of free-flowing anti-direction. The arrows, which evoke the energy of making your own way in life, don’t follow the conventional rules for clear directions, giving typical city maps a psychogeographic twist instead. The side and tongue are then covered in black-dressed symbols, cardinal directions, and writing, with the latter bearing the messages: “…to walk is to read — to read is to walk” and “the city is an infrastructure of language.”

On November 10, the Patta x Experimental Jetset x Converse Chuck 70 Hi will be available for purchase at Patta’s Chapter Stores worldwide, as well as online and on the Patta App.
Also visit the Converse website for more information on the “Create Now. Create Next” initiative.
