‘EXODUS 1:7’: DMX’S POSTHUMOUS ALBUM

Published

on

Over a month ago hip hop lost one of its greatest talents, DMX. Since the tragedy, his legacy lives on through his first album in nine years. DMX announced the new album last year in August, but details have only just been released courtesy to his friend and executive producer, Swizz Beatz.

Exodus 1:7 will be released on May 28th and includes a star-studded set. DMX dedicated a large part of his life and career to Christianity after being reformed, and this is reflected in the album. Musicians like Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Benny the Butcher, Bono, and Moneybagg Yo are all included on Exodus. Usher also is a vocalist on “Letter to My Son (Call Your Father)” and ex-enemy Jay-Z collaborates with Nas on “Bath Salts”.

Speaking to Hot 97, Swizz Beatz explained why this album meant so much to X: “People should hear what he wanted them to hear. Nothing should stop the creativity from flowing because it’s actually what he had fun doing. This was his gift to his audience and his family and his fans. It’s only right that people should get the gift that he left them.”

3 TECH ADVANCEMENTS BEHIND ‘AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER’

Published

As we examine the technology behind the second Avatar movie, James Cameron can be seen mixing his duties as an inventor and a filmmaker on most of his sets. Using AI, algorithms, brand-new cameras, and other technologies, Cameron has shared how this one was made.

wing Cam/Virtual Cam: Cameron wanted to be there as the performers performed on the “volume” of the virtual stage in order to record their on-screen antics in real time. As a result, the Simulcam or Swing Camera was developed, giving filmmakers more freedom of movement due to its screen’s ability to swing flawlessly at any angle.

Fusion Camera System: In addition, Cameron made use of the Fusion 3D Camera System. This module enabled the cinematographer to simultaneously take two photos that were aligned and gave the appearance of depth, producing the ideal immersive 3D experience. He modified this set-up somewhat for “Avatar” in order to get the more photorealistic pictures required to show off Pandora’s diverse flora and animals.

Motion capture: Cameron used a previously unheard-of strategy. In order to concentrate a specially built camera on a 6-inch tiny boom directly in front of the actors’ faces, small rigs that were linked to skull caps were fitted to the actors. Using these two improvements, the type of motion capture was transformed into an all-around performance capture. Movement-prone facial areas were highlighted with dots to track them in a better way. Every dialogue delivery and expression change accompanied by a range of emotions was recorded and turned into a computerized framework. The CG characters were brought to life on screen by animators and digital artists using the frameworks that were provided to them.

Future Hollywood projects will undoubtedly benefit from the underwater performance capture technologies and methods that Cameron and his creative team developed for Avatar: The Way of Water. James Cameron’s journey deserves to be portrayed on the biggest screens, from being rejected by multiple studios for his project because they thought it was too dangerous, then to witnessing it become the highest-grossing movie of all time and inspiring filmmakers all over the world.

In March 2023, Sifu will finally release its long-awaited Arenas mode. Sloclap, a French developer, revealed the news to IGN, saying that the mode will be included in a free update to the game.

“Completing the arenas successfully will progressively unlock a massive new modifiers batch, which doubles the current game’s amount and notably brings alternative moves to our main character’s Kung Fu palette,” Sloclap told IGN. “Completing the new Arenas challenges will also grant you access to new cheats and exclusive new outfits.”

Players have been anticipating the mode since it was first teased in a content roadmap in April. The mode was supposed to launch in winter 2022, but it was ultimately delayed.

Since its release in February 2022, the martial arts brawler has amassed over 1 million players worldwide on Windows, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as the Nintendo Switch. The Arenas mode will be available alongside the title’s release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
