On account of the coronavirus outbreak, Dior has decided to delay the release of its highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 collaboration. The official release was due to be scheduled to launch through an international draw next week.

The draw was intended to offer consumers exclusive access to buy a pair of Air Dior High trainers or grant them access to one of the international pop-up shops selling accessories and apparel from the Air Dior capsule.

The official statement from Nike reads:

“To ensure the safety of all, in accordance with recommendations by public authorities, and in order to reinforce the coordination of international measures, Dior has decided to postpone its international draw for the launch of the Air Dior capsule collection realized in collaboration with Jordan Brand.”

The new release date for the Dior x Air Jordan collaboration was reported by Nike to be announced in the next following weeks.

During the fashion week celebrations, the trainer and collaborative capsule had been vigorously teased further hyping up every sneaker enthusiast. Within the anticipated collection, includes the limited edition Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior, Air Jordan 1 Low Dior, capsule accessories and ready-to-wear apparel.

The Dior x Air Jordan 1 High trainers are rumoured to be limited to only 8,500 pairs for the retail price of $2000 USD.

The launch of the second draw for the Air Dior Low trainers is currently unchanged and is still scheduled for the end of May / beginning of June.

Crepe City- a lifestyle, footwear and fashion festival that showcases street wear brands across Europe- hosted an Autumn 2017 festival in London this month. This festival is where you’ll find leading brands showcasing their fresh new kicks.

This month’s get together saw Yeezy Waver Runner 700 (picture 1) and the newly unreleased UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 (picture 2). At an eye-watering £5,000, the most expensive trainer at Crepe City was the Nike Dunk SB Low Staple Pigeon (picture 3). In fact, the most expensive shoes were Nike, the (not so) cheapest kicks were the Nike Air Max 1 “USA” at £650, still too expensive to put on your Christmas list.

Looks like you best get saving for next year’s Crepe City festival!

Celebrating its sixth year, Foot Locker’s “Week of Greatness” has returned with a set of commercial ads and Instagram posts.

In these ads, you’ll see aging stars like Tom Brady, Carmelo Anthony, Ja Rule and more. Ja Rule reflects on his rollercoaster career whilst playing an Uber driver whilst Tom Brady jokes about his “deflate-gate” scandal.

Starting today in the US, you can ask the search engine a question about a celebrity and get an answer from them in the form of a selfie-style vid and it is currently being piloted on mobile Google. Will Ferrell trialing it out with the question ‘can you play the drums?’ to which he responded: ‘Yes, I do know how to play drums, as long as someone is playing drums off camera and I move the sticks like I can play drums.”
