WATCH: TOP 5 HORROR MOVIES IN 2022 TO BINGE WATCH

Published

on

As Halloween draws near, here are a number of top rated scary movies from 2022 so far – for those whose watching preferences swing toward the dismal and lethal.

Nope

In this science fiction-inspired story, Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya, siblings, are troubled by an alien abduction—or something far worse—on a remote California farm. With Nope, Get Out and Us writer-director Jordan Peele makes it three hits out of three with an engaging and frequently unsettling blend of laughs, surprises, and mystery.

Where to stream: Prime Video (then rent at £15.99)

Speak No Evil

The moral of this fantastic, if brutal, Danish work is “Beware who you make friends with on vacation.” The majority of Speak No Evil is filled with a horrible sense of creeping, growing dread, before the final act contains scenes of biblical cruelty that some viewers would find intolerable.

Where to Stream: Shudder

Being one of the most anticipated films of the year, Prey (set in 1719) places its nasty alien adversary on Earth and pits it against Naru, a fearsome Comanche warrior played by Amber Midthunder. There is a lot of heart-pounding action, high-stakes tension, and delicious bloodletting.

Where to Stream: Disney +

Runner up movie X takes place in Texas as some young individuals rent a barn from an elderly couple to shoot a pornographic movie. Maxine, a would-be pornstar, and Pearl, an elderly woman, are played by Mia Goth. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre references are sure to please everyone who enjoys brutal thrills as well as horror lovers. Another stormer with a 70s vibe.

Where to Stream: Prime Video

The Innocents

Taking the top spot is this Norwegian film. In the plot, psychic kids get into trouble on an Oslo housing complex. This has a chilly, unsettling vibe designed to make you shiver. Eskil Vogt, regular co-writer for Joachim Trier, director of The Worst Person In The World, directed this.

Where to Stream: Prime Video, where you can rent content for £1.99.

‘YANDHI’: KANYE’S NEW ALBUM

Published

By

Thought two full-length album’s in 2018 was enough for Mr West? Think again. The release date for his third, yes third (!), album this year may be imminent due to him not to subtly hinting at it. Here is everything we know so far…

The album’s name is a combination of “Ye” and “Gandhi”, as Kanye merging “Ye” and “Jesus” for “Yeezus” wasn’t bad enough. News of the project began earlier in September when West dropped some tweets suggesting another album, and we all know he loves stirring things up on twitter. The “Touch The Sky” singer took these hints further on Instagram, posting  a picture of a billboard with the caption “YANDHI 9 29 18” which we think is the release date, meaning it’s coming any day now. Also he potentially dropped the album artwork on insta- a minidisc with purple tape, copying his 2013 YEEZUS album.

Speculations have also suggested Chance the Rapper will feature on the album as the pair are already working on a new album together called “Good Ass Job”. Does Kanye West ever sleep or is he just constantly working on new albums? Lil Pump is also another suspected feature artists after him and Ye released “I Love It” earlier this month alongside that weird, weird cartoon music video of them .

Published

By

AJ Tracey has linked up with Californian producer D33J for a brand-new track named “Other Man”. The collab brings together the grime artist’s  distinct British style mixed with a LA rap-inspired production for a innovative sound.

This is not the first sound to be produced outside the West London native’s comfort zone. His track “3Am” with Bauer presents his experimental sounds, along with “Butterflies” with Not3s which also apparently was made by the pair sat on a sofa in 20 minutes. If only we were that musically talented…
